Our Junior Church were delighted recently to present a cheque for £400 to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice. This was the proceeds of the annual Christmas Appeal. The youngest members of Junior Church, Lydia and Oliver visited Julia’s House charity shop opposite our Church to present the cheque to their volunteer, Luke. The congregation donated money to the appeal in place of sending Christmas cards to Church friends and also filling a donation box with loose change.
Julia’s House Children’s Hospice is in Wiltshire and Dorset and supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families. We were delighted to help them with our Christmas appeal this year.
