Thanks to Anne’s hard work and commitment to justice, Salisbury URC’s status as a Fairtrade Church has been renewed for another year!
Fairtrade News
Angharad Hopkinson, Campaigns and Policy Officer at the Fairtrade Foundation, writes: Thank you very much for recommitting Salisbury United Reformed Church as a Fairtrade Place of Worship.
Fairtrade is growing with enormous success thanks to the support of consumers and the efforts of faith groups like yours raising awareness of Fairtrade. Such enthusiasm from all over the UK means more than 7500 churches, mosques, temples and synagogues have now pledged to use and promote Fairtrade.
Congratulations on becoming a Fairtrade Church and thank you for supporting positive change for people and planet.
Now that we have recommitted to use and promote Fairtrade, enjoy discovering an ever developing Fairtrade range and sharing new products with friends and family. You can also find a full list of resources here: http://shop.fairtrade.org.uk.
Remember to order all your Fairtrade products through Anne, so that our church receives a percentage of the sales.
If you would like to keep up to date through the Fairtrade Churches e-newsletter – you can subscribe here. You can also visit the website www.fairtrade.org.uk which is updated regularly.
Have a look at our beautiful new Fairtrade Church certificate! (which is so big, I had to paste it above in thirds!)
