Salisbury URC is an iconic landmark in the city of Salisbury. It is a Grade 2 listed building built in 1878 with the second highest spire in the city. The church is a place of worship but also a place for socialising, meeting, support and reflection as well as a venue for music, art and culture.
Many people in the community have connections with the church either through special family occasions such as baptisms, weddings or funerals or through meeting there regularly. Many groups and organisations meet in the building regularly and have done throughout the years. Other people may be interested in it as a historic building and part of the streetscape of Salisbury.
Historic buildings such as the church need a great deal of maintenance and repair, which in turn costs a lot of money. Salisbury URC is not just a place for members who attend worship but also a building for the local community.
In order to do this we need support and people who will help promote our presence in the local community.
You can help by becoming a Friend of Salisbury URC. For only £10 per year you can help us continue our work in the city and help preserve this historic building.
