The United Reformed Church (URC) Assembly affirmed the URC’s commitment to morally responsible investment policies with regards to Israel and Palestine, stating:
“After years of research, discernment, prayer, visits, and collaboration with national and international partners, the United Reformed Church has also given its public commitment on investment policies which screen out international companies that benefit from the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.” — United Reform Church
This URC Assembly also affirms “support for the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI)… standing in solidarity with those who face ongoing violations of international law arising from the 54-year military occupation of Palestine”.
