Spreading Love & Hope...

Welcome to today's devotion created for your use at home during these trying times. With church gatherings suspended, we gather and share through telephone & technology. Staying connected during this time of Coronavirus is important for all of us. May this devotion and the links provided help you stay connected to God and the wider community.

If you have items to share -- news, a prayer, song, Bible verse, reflection, photo -- please send it by email so we can share them. Blessings & peace, Ana & Tod

Today's Reflection

Love equals distance & solidarity
"For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power,
love and self-discipline" --2 Timothy 1:7
Our world needs love and healing. We each have our part to play -- loving others by staying apart physically and staying connected socially. Together we can support one another as we step each day into an unknown future. God offers us peace in the midst of the turmoil and unknowing, the true Peace of Christ. May we each open our hearts and minds to receive it and find ways to share it.

Today's Prayers

'As for me, I shall always have hope;
I will praise you more and more.'
--Psalm 71:14

God in our work

Work has taken on new forms and expressions in the last few days. Many people are working from home. Some are out of paid work. Others are working 'on the front lines' in hospitals, food delivery, pharmacies and other public services. Others are using this solitary time for gardening and household projects. Whatever our new 'work' looks like, whatever we fill our hours with, let us remember that God is with us.

All the Hours God Gives

I work all the hours God gives.
I work. All the hours – God gives.
I work all the hours. God gives.
God gives all the hours I work.
God gives. All the hours – I work.
God gives all. The hours? I work.
The hours God gives, I work.
The hours! God gives, I work.
I give God all the work hours.
The hours I give God all work.
