We pray for refugees who are vulnerable to exploitation and trafficking. Women and children fleeing war are being targeted as they travel and on social media-based matching sites for refugees. God, we pray that conflict zones would not be fertile ground for human trafficking. Protect those who are already vulnerable from further harm. …

Please pray for the Palm Sunday service in Mtendere, in the open air, when nine church denominations, including St John’s, worship together and then march to the local hospital with gifts. Praise God for this powerful united witness and Christian love in action.

Each Sunday during morning worship we pause to light our peace candle and pray for Ukraine. Our peace candle burns beside the cross which we have draped with the colours of the Ukraine flag to remember all those who have died. Holy One.
