Order of Service
Fellowship You may join the gathering any time after 9:30.
Gathering – we will have a time for notices and updates until 10:40 . This will, hopefully, help us avoid the high-usage time for Zoom and the poor sound quality we’ve experienced in the early portion of the services. If you have something to share, please let Ana, Elaine or Anne know so you’re sure to be included.

Gathering Psalm 66:1-4 (adapted)
Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth!
Sing the glory of God’s name! Give to God glorious praise!
Say to God, ‘How awesome are your deeds! All the earth worships you.’
We gather to worship and sing praises to our God.

Hymn SP 176 Let us build a house where love can dwell Marty Haugen (b.1950)
Let us build a house where love can dwell
a place where saints and children tell
how hearts learn to forgive.
Built of hopes and dreams and visions,
rock of faith and vault of grace;
here the love of Christ shall end divisions:
All are welcome, all are welcome,
all are welcome in this place.
Let us build a house where prophets speak,
and words are strong and true,
where all God's children dare to seek
to dream God's reign anew.
Here the cross shall stand as witness
and as symbol of God's grace;
here as one we claim the faith of Jesus:
All are welcome, all are welcome,
all are welcome in this place.
Let us build a house where hands will reach
beyond the wood and stone
to heal and strengthen, serve and teach,
and live the Word they've known.
Here the outcast and the stranger
bear the image of God's face;
let us bring an end to fear and danger:
All are welcome, all are welcome,
all are welcome in this place.
Let us build a house where all are named,
their songs and visions heard
and loved and treasured, taught and claimed
as words within the Word.
Built of tears and cries and laughter,
prayers of faith and songs of grace,
let this house proclaim from floor to rafter:
All are welcome, all are welcome,
all are welcome in this place.

Hymn RS 541 How blest are they, O Lord
How blest are they, O Lord,
Who stay themselves on thee;
Who wait for thy salvation, Lord,
When we in darkness walk,
Nor feel the heavenly flame,
Then is the time to trust our God
Soon shall our doubts and fears
His loving kindness shall break through
The midnight of the soul.
His grace will to the end
Stronger and brighter shine,
Nor present things, nor things to come,
Shall quench the spark divine.
Message Know God, know Love
Closing Hymn RS 567 Thy hand, O God, has guided
Thy hand, O God, has guided
thy flock, from age to age;
the wondrous tale is written,
full clear, on every page.
Thy people owned thy goodness,
and we their deeds record;
and both of this bear witness,
one church, one faith, one Lord.
Thy heralds brought glad tidings,
to greatest, as to least;
they summoned all to hasten
and share the great King’s feast.
Their gospel of redemption,
sin pardoned, earth restored,
was all in this enfolded:
one church, one faith, one Lord.
Thy mercy will not fail us,
nor leave thy work undone;
with thy right hand to help us,
the victory shall be won.
And then, by all creation,
thy name shall be adored,
and this shall be our anthem:
one church, one faith, one Lord.
We go into the world to do what is good,
with care and reverence for all creation.
we will carry God’s love to others. Amen!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all, now and evermore. Amen.

Reminders to keep our Zoom service running smoothly:
- Please keep your microphone muted unless you are speaking.
- Do NOT click on the green button that says 'share screen' (or we will see everything open on your computer!)
- When we sing and pray together, we will hear one voice, and the others will be muted.
- If the technology is compromised for any reason or goes totally wonky, we will end the on-line service immediately. If that should happen, we’ll try to restart as soon as possible, sending out an email to notify you.
- At this time, we are not requiring a password, to ease the access for those still learning the 'Zoom ropes'.
