Opening Hymn ‘Celebrating the Church’ by George Stuart (copyright free)
|
1 As we come in celebration, We now contemplate our past We delight in former friendships And the love that holds us fast; All our past is now accepted; Through its troubles we have grown; Now the future beckons to us, Knowing we are not alone. 2 We give honour to past visions Fostering community; For all feelings of belonging Energizing harmony; We acknowledge past commitments, Past successes, past mistakes; Jesus never promised to us Life without its pains and aches. 3 As this annivers’ry passes We commit to ministry; Look to Jesus for direction; Forge a thrilling destiny; We have journeyed on together With abundant, godly care; We now look toward the future Knowing God will meet us there.

Hymn RS 518 Father, I place into your hands – Jenny Hewer ©1975 Thankyou Music CCL180297 1 Father, I place into your hands the things that I can’t do. Father, I place into your hands the times that I’ve been through. Father, I place into your hands the way that I should go, for I know I always can trust you. 2 Father, I place into your hands my friends and family. Father, I place into your hands the things that trouble me. Father, I place into your hands the person I would be, for I know I always can trust you.

Closing Hymn RS 579 Lord, thy Church on earth is seeking – Hugh Sherlock © Trustees for Methodist Church Purposes CCL 2452933
|
1 Lord, thy Church on earth is seeking Thy renewal from above; Teach us all the art of speaking With the accent of thy love. We would heed thy great commission: ‘Go now into every place – Preach, baptise, fulfil my mission, Serve with love and share my grace’. 2 Freedom give to those in bondage, Lift the burdens caused by sin. Give new hope, new strength and courage, Grant release from fears within. Light for darkness; joy for sorrow; Love for hatred; peace for strife: These and countless blessings follow As the Spirit gives new life. 3 In the streets of every city Where the bruised and lonely dwell, Let us show the Saviour’s pity, Let us of his mercy tell; To all lands and peoples bringing All the richness of thy word, Till the world, thy praises singing, Hails thee Christ, Redeemer, Lord.
|
Sending Forth & The Grace The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all now and forever. Amen.

If you are not going to stay for the fellowship groups, now is your opportunity to say and wave goodbye.
|
Breakout Fellowship groups (get yourself a cuppa and enjoy conversation) • If you are going to join a breakout fellowship group, the invitation will come up on your screen in about 2 minutes. • If you are on the telephone you will be in a group, so do not hang up. Or if you need to hang up and call back in, use the same telephone number and meeting ID number. • These are groups of 6 decided randomly by Zoom, giving us all the opportunity to possibly get to know new friends. Introduce yourselves in your group and enjoy a time of conversation and fellowship. • If your group is too small or too large, you may leave the group and return to the main group and be re-assigned to a new group. • You may choose to leave the Zoom gathering before going to a breakout group or anytime while you are in the breakout group. • We hope you’ll give them a try and enjoy a time of fellowship. • Ana & Tod will be ‘dropping in’ on each group to say hello.

Reminders to keep our Zoom service running smoothly:
|
- Please keep your microphone muted unless you are speaking.
- If you accidently leave Zoom, you can login again with the same link.
- Do NOT click on the green button that says 'share screen' (or we will see everything open on your computer!)
- When we sing and pray together, we will hear one voice, and the others will be muted.
- If the technology is compromised for any reason or goes totally wonky, we will end the on-line service immediately. If that should happen, we’ll try to restart as soon as possible, sending out an email to notify you.
- At this time, we are not requiring a password, to ease the access for those still learning the 'Zoom ropes'.
