Message   Mission work with the Waldensian Church in Italy    Revd Colin & Ann Marsh

Anne and Colin have had links with the Waldensian Church in Italy since 2006, and have worked with Waldensian schools in Sicily and northwest Italy.

The Waldensian movement: stems from the work of Peter Waldo in the 12th century in Lyon, France. In 1184, the movement was excommunicated and scattered throughout Europe. Many settled in Italy where they built their first church in 1555. The mission of the modern Waldensian Church is: ‘proclaiming the Christian Gospel, serving the marginalized, promoting social justice, fostering inter-religious work, and advocating respect for religious diversity and freedom of conscience.’ To learn more: https://www.globalministries.org/the_waldensian_church_italy
